  1. Hi Simon, words of encouragement as requested 🙂

Hope you’ve celebrated no more getting up at unearthly hours to go to work over the last few days. I’m sitting indoors on the most horrible day weatherwise, cold, very windy and it’s raining, and they say it’s going to be like this for the next few days, and thinking how glad you must be that you decided not to go straight off on your travels. You’d have a job to stay upright and on the path in this weather! Hopefully by the time you go Spring will arrive and bring the sun so that you have some glorious days (and warm dry nights!). Wishing you lots of good luck, hope you have a happy journey and I’ll look forward to reading all about it.

  2. Morning Jean 🙂

    Thanks for posting.

Thursday felt like a Friday, and so did Friday and then it was the weekend so it hasn’t really started to sink in yet. Tomorrow will be my first Monday morning though, and that will be nice.

Apparently it is spring… astronomical and meteorological, but the weather is indeed b. awful. I’m not going unless it is going to be lovely at least some of the time. The poor daffodils were doing their best, but are mostly having a lie down now.

I am sorting out kit, but it’s getting fed up with being sorted out. There is a real danger I’ll start planning if I don’t get going soon.

    Have a good week.
