So it’s 2020 and there is still a huge gap in the Around Great Britain track. Time to do something about it, or at least a bit of it.
2019 was a good year in terms of improving fitness and beating all previous yearly mileage totals. There were lots of whole day rides including 26 century (100 mile) rides.
Beating the 2019 mileage would be tough so the goalposts are being moved for 2020. The objective this year is to go faster, and to that end I have purchased a new bike.

Anyway, that’s all beside the point. This is about getting a bit more of the coast covered.
A 10 day, 571 mile mini-tour is planned for April 2020. Around 200 miles of this will be coastline not previously covered. The route will be roughly as shown below.
